The Center of Gravity(CG)
The center of gravity of an object is the point which is at the “center” of the object.
“center” means center of mass.
So if a form of an object is symmetry but the right half is heavier than the left, the CG of the object is located in the right half.
The CG is best-balanced point.
If you hang an object, the CG is located under the point where the object is hung.
The red cross represents the CG.
The CG of your body changes as your form changes.
These illustrations show where the CG is for each form in general.
In the air, you rotate with an axis which passes through the CG.
And the trajectory of the CG is determined at the moment of take off.
Whatever you do in the air, the trajectory of the CG doesn’t change.
