The springs which doesn’t fall

The springs which doesn’t fall

Assume the spring which is hanging from ceil and stretched by its own weight.
we detach the spring from the ceil and then the spring falls down to the floor.
However, to our surprise, the lower part of the spring detains in the same place in the air for a while.

Slow motion starts from 1m 2s.

spring lower part doesn't fall

It looks as if the spring doesn’t follow the principle of physics. How does it occur?

It occurs due to the contracting of the spring after the spring was detached from the ceil.
Gravity and the force which has the spring contracted (whose direction is upward at the lower part of the spring) offsets each other.
Conversely, at the upper part of the spring, since gravity is added to the force which has the spring contracted, that part of the spring falls at the twice speed as usual.
And you can see the middle of the spring falls at the same speed as usual because the force which has the spring contracted doesn’t apply there.

After the spring has completed being contracted, the whole spring falls at usual speed, for no force is applied anymore to the spring except for gravity.
This phenomenon occurs with the spring which has as strong the contracting force as can offset gravity.

spring fall down dynamics

I think the smartest reader has noticed that this phenomenon is an analogy of the fixed chest of tucking in the air while flipping.(cf. Not Tip1 : When tucking , bring knee to chest, not chest to knee)
Gravity applied to the spring is to the original rotation of flip what the contracting force of the spring  is to the contracting force of the abdominal muscle.
It is an example of phenomenon where something is fixed by offsetting of the movement of the whole object and the movement initiated by the action and the reaction by the force which generated inside of the object.

The through all movements is determined by the posture change especially in the air, and we can only change our posture.
Therefore, we cannot make difference of the position of the part of our body in the same change of our posture.
In other words, as your posture changes, the position and the movement (ex. chest fixed) of each part of your body is determined accordingly and automatically.
