There are four steps.

Step 1. Jump and turn back and do a dive roll(front flip)
jump and turn and dive roll

Jump with a half twist and land(looking at the ground).
And do a dive roll(front flip) as soon as possible.
If you can, land and punch directly to a dive roll and do a front flip instead of a dive roll.

Step 2. Turn back and do a dive roll

Turn back and look at the ground and do a dive roll.

Note that you shouldn’t move your feet; your feet are fixed to the ground and twist your only your upper body.

When Takeoff

I know you can’t do a dive roll straightly due to the turn in the beginning.
In this step, you should learn how to do a dive roll straightly with your upper body twisted.
And learn to do a high dive roll in this way.
You cannot do a dive roll due to two kinds of causes below in general.

  1. Your knees and waist are not facing forward
You should make your knees and waist facing forward; you should twist only your upper body.
  2. You twist your upper body too much
You should twist your upper body little bit.
If you completely turn back, your body is twisted more in the air.
Step 3. Do a dive roll backward onto a mattress

If you can do a high dive roll to back, do it onto a mattress.

Step 4.  Do a standing Arabian front onto a mattress

After you get used to do a dive roll backward, tuck after takeoff as soon as possible.

In reality, a mattress is just behind you(These illustrations are shifted to right) .

Step 5.  Do a standing Arabian front onto a lower mattress
Step 6. Do a standing Arabian front

Whether twisted or not, back or front, silhouette should be the below.

It initiates rotation.

– Way 2 (Back tuck with an early half twist) –

Do a back tuck with your upper body little twisted.
Except for that you should twist your upper body while you’re on the ground, you don’t have to change your form, so you should swing your arms in the same way as back tuck and look forward when takeoff.
If you do that, twist will continue and it makes your back tuck a standing Arabian front.
You can do it onto a mattress like way 1.
