Handstand roll is very basic skill for all acrobat skills.

 

2. How to learn and improve

  1. Put your hands on the ground and swing up your leg.
  2. Swing up the other leg.
  3. Do a handstand(you don’t stand still).
  4. Bend your arms and put the back of your head on the ground slowly.
    Start flexing your hip-joint.
  5. Put the top part of your back on the ground.
    Your legs are still facing upward.
  6. Put the middle part of your back on the ground.
    Start flexing your knees.
  7. Put the bottom part of your back(hips) on the ground.
  8. Start standing up.
  9. Stand.
-How to roll smoothly-

Rolling smoothly looks easy but actually it’s not.
If your form is too big, you cannot get enough rolling speed to complete rolling.
However, if you become small too swiftly, your back will be off the ground or only some part of your weight will be on the ground.

If you are off the ground even if only slightly, at the next moment, you will fall on the ground and bounce, you cannot roll smoothly.
If you are in the air, you rotate alone(without the ground), so the smaller, the faster you rotate.
However, when you roll on the ground, you cannot ignore the ground, you should consider the ground.
To roll smoothly, you should make your form smaller properly so that you are on the ground with the same weight.
